1971 – 1974 : Kværner Engineering as, Lysaker.(Design Engineering and Contracting Company). Deputy Managing Director. Responsible for development of the Company into a multi-discipline design 2 engineering company for the oil and gas industry through the following activities:
1971 – 1973: Development of basis for the company's entering into design engineering and contracting for the oil and gas industry.
1973 – 1974: Project Manager for the Cod and Tor engineering projects awarded from Phillips Petroleum Company.
Each project included the design of a complete offshore oil/gas facility, including jacket/pile design, production systems, drilling systems, utilities, crew quarters and all supporting services.
1974 : Project Director for all oil and gas industry projects, including contracts for Cod, Tor, Edda, Eldfisk (Phillips), S.E. Tor (Amoco), Frigg (Elf) and Mongstad Refinery off Sites (Rafinor)
1969 – 1971: Kværner Brug as. (Design Engineering, Fabrication and Contracting Company Section Head. Marine gas cargo pressure vessels for LPG, Ethylene and LNG
cargo vessels. Responsible for management, design and fabrication..

1966 – 1969: Head of Nuclear Equipment Division. Responsible for management, sales, design and production.
1961 – 1966: Project Manager assigned to Eurochemic, Mol, Belgium for
- Engineering and construction of High Level Waste Storage Plants Nos. 1 and 2.
- Installation of Radioactive Process Sampling and Analysis Systems.
- Design, procurement and installation of Radioactive Pond Water Purification System.
1958 – 1961: Project Manager for design and construction of Nuclear research reactor NORA at Kjeller, Norway.
